Ideal weightlifting gloves
I've gone through several gloves over the years(whether from wear and tear or just losing them) and I've got to highlight these as quality gloves.
Weightlifting gloves don't always cover up to the middle of the fingers so calluses form in the middle even if the bottom of the fingers don't. These glove-fingers cover up just past this section of the finger when the hand is flexed.
Also the light breathable back limits the heat buildup from heavier gloves. Wrist wraps have never actually protected my wrists if you can't keep your wrists straight a wrist wrap sure as hell won't be enough to hold it for you. The marginal benefit does not justify the presence of wrist wraps and they're thankfully absent from this glove.
The leather here is softflexible and PROPERLY PLACED. Avoid the other Harbinger lifting glove models at all costs the padding seam in the thumbsection is driven straight into the bone whereas this pad's seam runs smooth. Another nice feature is that unlike my other gloves the material doesn't shrink in the wash so it can be tossed into the laundry instead of having to be handwashed like most gloves. (And you need to wash lifting gloves since gyms are horrendously bacteria-ridden in addition to the odor).

Not as bad as others say but could be better...
I bought these after having the Harbinger 1200 Big Grip gloves (midnight blue/black). I wanted to buy another pair since I had been using those gloves for about 4 years lifting 3-5 times a week. I found out from Harbinger over the phone that they no longer manufacture the older pair and was convinced to try these new ones out. Too bad they only have that tan color.
When first giving these a try my only complaint was that the webbing between my pointer finger and thumb would hurt because of the gloves during the lift. This went away after about 3 workouts. The rubber grips/padding are in a more functional design than the previous model and conforms to the weights easier. The breathability is MUCH better than the previous model and I appreciate that a lot.
I don't see why people are so upset about the rubber grips/padding thickness. Did you not see that before you bought them? Anyways the grips/padding are the reason I wanted these gloves (and the Harbinger 1200 when I used those). I lift heavy weights usually dumbbells and the grips/padding allow me to hold onto the weight much longer than I normally would. Doing shrugs with 120 lbs in each hand would be really tough without the extra friction. The thickness does not get in my way at all which may be due to my hand size (can palm a basketball).
My only gripe is that the stitching is already starting to come undone in one area about 1.5 cm long. I have had them 6 months and the previous model didn't start doing that until 3.5 years.
These gloves are not for the average user. I would recommend these to heavy lifters who workout often. The features that make these gloves beneficial do not necessarily benefit the majority. If you stay on the lower end of the dumbell rack (< 80 lbs) or just work out here and there I would just stick to the normal Harbinger gloves. I hope this helps out.

great gloves for working out
These are better than the gloves without the wristwraps...they aren't as loose and the wristwraps add extra support when I am lifting. The only thing that would make this better is if there was more padding on the palm area.

Harbinger Pro WristWrap
I wish I was able to compare this and the WristWrap Classic before I bought it. I most likely would have gone with the Classic. Since I have a hurt wrist I really need the support. The Classic has a wider wrap and is also more flexible. The Pro wrist wrap is canvas and a bit inflexible. I need the wrap to be snug to give me maximum support.
So I'm a little disappointed.
Nonetheless they still give me MUCH more support than when I would work out without them.

The perfect straps for those who enjoy severe discomfort
In the years I've been lifting whenever I used my wrist straps I would think to myself "Deadlifting heavy iron is enjoyable and all but wouldn't the whole endeavor be more fun if these straps carved deep abrasions into my wrists?" Now that the Harbinger Neoprene Padded Lifting Straps have come into my life I no longer have to wonder about how good lifting can be. My prior wrist straps merely helped me maintain my grip on the barbell. But the inspired designers of the Harbinger Neoprene Padded Lifting Straps have taken lifting to the next level by placing jagged unfinished seams at the very point where the strap is pressed against your outer wrist. Now for days after your workout you have a somatic reminder of how much weight you lifted: the shredded skin on your wrist. Having experienced the sublime pleasure of toiling to raise a barbell as the Harbinger Neoprene Padded Lifting Straps excavated the dermis along my radiocarpal joint I don't think I could ever go back to wrist straps which don't cause me bodily harm.

Lift hard in comfort
My last pair of leather and mesh training gloves where trashed so I shopped around and decided to replace them with these gloves. The Harbinger 1260 gloves provide ample padding for protection and comfort while providing a solid grip. The nosweat (tm) lining wicks moisture away from the skin while the curved three quarter finger design fits more naturally improving dexterity. The gloves are fastened in place with an adjustable wrist strap. Even though the gloves are partially constructed of leather they can be hand washed to remove salt and oils. Washing with a mild soap and air drying will help the gloves to maintain their comfort fit and will last longer.
My workout partner uses the Harbinger 143 gloves. Compared to the 1260 the 143 are simpler gloves with less material and padding. Since they sell for about the same price the 1260 gloves are a much better value.
PROS:
Washable
Comfortable
Durable enough for rigorous strength training
CONS:
Sizing seems slightly small in comparison to other gloves. I can get my gloves on easy and they are comfortable. They are a bit of a challenge to remove though. The next size up is too big on me.

Good quality but medium was too small
These gloves are of a good quality though have a strong smell (leather dye I assume). I am using them almost daily and they cusion palms and fingers nicely. The velcro on the back is slightly uncomfortable probably due to the size being too small. I ordered gloves in medium size but they are too small for my relatively small hands. If you think you need medium you probably should order large. I am giving 4 stars for the size issue but the quality and price combination is very good.

Superior Quality with Excessive Padding
The suitability of these gloves depends on what type of lifting you enjoy. With padding on the palm and fingers your entire gripping surface is cushioned. Such padding is common on bicycling gloves where hours of continuous pressure and vibration can cause numbness and pain. Yet most serious lifters would probably forgo comfort for better control provided by unpadded gloves.
Traditional weight lifting gloves are made from durable but supple leather to prevent calluses and improve grip. The latter becomes critically important when perspiring. In my experience having no padding is best - especially when lifting heavier weight. Basically the compliance of the padding reduces your level of control. At the same time there is an undesirable absorption of energy albeit a miniscule amount.
The quality of the materials and construction of the Harbinger 1250 gloves is the best I have seen. Clearly the expense in making these gloves is significantly higher than in other products I have owned by Nike and Gold's. Unfortunately the generous use of thick split leather and padding provides insulation that causes excessive heat buildup. With heat comes sweat. I find myself taking these gloves off multiple times during my workout to let the sweat evaporate. It would be nice if there were perforations or large vents on the back to mitigate this problem.
While these gloves might be ideal for certain lifters who prefer comfort over control I would counsel gym rats to purchase other gloves with less or no padding. Kudos to Harbinger for making a quality product but these gloves aren't for everyone.
Pros
Superior materials
Excellent double stitching
Comfortable wrist wrap
Cons
Expensive
Excessive padding
No perforations to dissipate heat and perspiration

Wonderful mat wished it came in more colors.
This mat provides excellent padding and traction for the exercises I do which include situps and kneeing on my basement concrete floor. It is also easy to clean and stow away. At 5/8" it is one of the thickest mats not for gymnastics or martial arts that I could find. Highly recommended.

Needs some re-design
This is good for doing deadlifts but not for chin ups as it doesn't feel right on the wrist it takes some weight off the fingers but not a piece of cake.

Best glove I have ever owned.
I've been a weight lifter for many years and have gone through MANY gloves. These are by far the best I've owned. One reason I love them is that they are not intrusive at all. The softer leather and flex section make them a pleasure to wear. They also for some reason seem to grip the bar better then any other glove I've owned. They also have the right amount of gel in the palms if there was any more it would be annoying so the girly men just have to look elsewhere! They do wear a little faster than other gloves but not thats to be expected with the softer leather and flex sections but is worth it since they are so great to wear. I give these gloves a beating 4 times each week and still on the same pair I've had for over a year. Would definately recomend!

A Keeper
Excellent straps..sound strong construction..the large grommets (feel a little light though) easily fit any chin up bar..very comfortable...Met my expectations and well worth the price. Definitely a Keeper.
A slight amendment to my review..after a month of using these I found that one of the straps had a tear along the side lining.Either the piece was defective or it couldn't take my weight (all of 200 lbs).A Bit disappointing because otherwise it seemed well constructed.I live in India so returning the product is not possible now.
Edited 03/17/08 I complained to Harbinger about the problem I had with the product and to my surprise they actually went to the trouble and expense of shipping a free replacement to me all the way to India . THat is truly awesome customer service and I hope the Ab Straps do give me years of service.

Comfortable and supportive
I have had these gloves for a month now and have had no problems with them so far. They are both comfortable and supportive during my weight training sessions and I never sweat in them. One feature I find appealing about these gloves is that they can be put in the washer and dryer for quick and easy cleaning. The design of the gloves shows their feminine side without being too showy (no loud colors) which makes them easy to coordinate with any active wear.

Yoga or Pilates - Great Mat
I bought this mat for both Yoga and Pilates. I wanted the extra thickness/cushion for floor exercises. I have used the mat for 30-days and can say I am very pleased with the quality construction and performance of the mat for both types of activities. The closed-cell anti-microbial Durafoam feature is worth the money. The removeble strap is included making this a good value. There is a slight odor to the mat but only noticeable when lying face down on the mat. One suggestion for the manufacturer to consider is to use a slightly higher quality fabric for the strap. The strap leaves dents in the mat and over time may cause the mat to "chip". Other than that I would buy again.

worth every penny!
Having lifted weights for over 20 years I have gone through quite a bit of different accessories and aids and these are definitely the best lifting straps I've found in many years.
Their unique magic is in the rubber strips which really do make these nylon straps STICK to whatever bar you're using: pull-up bar lat-machine bar dumbbells or barbells. Wonderful wonderful grip.
My only complaint is that there is no extra padding for the part of the strap that wraps around your wrists unlike with the other Harbinger lifting strap which regrettably does not have the rubber strips.
Whenever Harbinger combines both features into a single strap they will have achieved absolute perfection!
ESSENTIAL USAGE TIP: do *not* wrap the part of the strap that goes around the bar on top of itself it will be too big and cause the kinds of complaints that the other (unskilled) reviewers are complaining about. You want to wrap it in a spiraling pattern so that your hands are gripping only a SINGLE layer of the strap across the bar works perfectly.

works well
I was looking around for quite a while for a non-leather weightlifting belt that is the same width as the leather belts and found this one on Amazon. So I bought this belt from Amazon approx. one month ago. Has worked well so far.
One good thing about velcro belts is that the belt can be tightened to a custommized tightness unlike the leather belts that have buckle holes at fixed distances - so one may be too loose and the other too tight depending on your waist size.

Excellent for Targeting your Thighs and Powerhouse!
I purchased two of these after having left a gym where they were available for use. They're absolutely fantastic! I like to do squats with them although they can be used for other exercises including lunges. When used regularly you will notice a difference within a couple weeks! It's amazing how adding a little balance component to your regular routine will improve your tone.
These are especially great for toning the back of your thighs right below the buttocks where fat loves to go. But since you're also balancing yourself they also work your core area so you'll see and feel a difference in your "lower" abs as well!
They're well worth the money and very easy to store. The only reason I didn't rate them at 5 stars is because I have not compared Harbinger's to another brand of balancing disks.

Comparing gloves (4 types)
Boy have I had a hard time finding a pair of weight lifting gloves! My previous ones were simple leather Saranac gloves not much padding but they lasted for several years. The leather eventually rotted out forming huge holes. But I can definitely say that the Saranac gloves were awesome.
Now onto the replacement. I tried four different types of gloves.
Harbinger 143
Harbinger 1260
Harbinger 1215 Big Grip II
GoFit Diamond-Trac
The Harbinger 143 gloves were OK. They didn't have too much padding but fit very snug and were difficult to get off. Also the fingers were short.
The Harbinger 1260 and 1215 were both unusable due to having too much padding in the palm and knuckle area. The padding is comfortable for pressing exercises (e.g. bench press) but makes it all but impossible to do pulling exercises (e.g. pull ups curls deadlifts rows etc.). You can try them yourselves but save some money and take my word for it.
The GoFit Diamond-Trac gloves are the best of the bunch for my needs. They have a little padding in the palm but not enough to interfere with your grip. They are lightweight so I'm not sure how long they'll last but I'll reserve judgment on that. They do make my hands sweat because the neoprene on the back doesn't seem to breathe well. They run a little larger in size than the other gloves. Also I like that they have a finger tab to help you pull off the gloves.
Please be kind enough to indicate if reviews are helpful.

Harbringer Push-Up Bar
I really enjoy using Harbringer products. They are usually made of good quality materials last a long time and really look good.
Pros: Product looks great as always Very sturdy and comfortable to use.
I feel no wrist strain while using these.
I'm able to get more of a workout since I can dip down further unlike normal pushups.
Easy to grip and the underneath side has 3 rubber stoppers to help reduce slidding.
Cons: None.
Other: Noticable paint skuffs/markings. At first I thought it had a crack or two but its just the way the paint looks. Even on the Cover of the Box it comes in you can see it has the same markings. Which is weird usually harbringer would do a better job on the paint quality.

needs a release strap
The product was economically and the supplier was responsive. However here is no release strap. So after you've had a heavy work out you literally have to peel the gloves off and they usually come off inside/out. It's like putting on a tight wet pair of pants. It's just so hard to find small lifting gloves for women. Better than nothing but I have got to find a better product. Harbinger used to make one with a wrist wrap in a woman's small and extra small. I haven't been able to locate that again.
